CHOKIN- This limited edition design (7,500) was created by the renowned Japanese artist YOSHINOBU HARA, who carved his Chokin Hara decorative masterpiece plates in limited editions and sizes. He did it for all his life spanning over 60 years. He studied the crafts under the legendary master RISHO ARITA. The images on this CHOKIN HARA plate are created by etching pure copper and then gilding it with silver and gold. This art form was handed down from generation to generation for over 800 years. Plate No 5693 of only 7500 produced. 1983.
