This late Qianglong period Family Verte jar with traditional characters inscriptions tell the story of well wishing messages of the two highly respected princess or daughters of the traditional aristocratic family. The traditional Chinese society expected them to show good characters and behaviors as in family, relatives as well as larger society. The scripts in black colour is written in traditional calligraphy tells the viewer to 'Smile' or 'Be Happy' so that to make others 'Smile' or 'Happy', by being around them. This porcelain is painted in coloured enamel of red, black and green in family verte style. It is truly rare in its kind. Ideal for the museums or collectors.
