This Scholar's accessory disk/pot made of sandalwood with blue and white cobalt blue in undergalze porcelain shows the fierce dragon amidst cloud displaying the true characteristics of the Ming Dynasty personality of the dragon. This pot could have been a part of the set used by the revered scholar of the time, for whose use the pot/disk could have been produced exclusively. Due to it's rarity and age, this piece is highly sought after and suitable for the public display orginisation including museums.
